THE BEST MAGAZINE COVERS OF THE YEAR – An activity for ESL learners!

You will find a fun and interactive activity designed for ESL learners to reflect on the past year’s events through magazine covers.

• The activity includes two documents:
• A three-page worksheet for the students – reusable every year and with any magazine cover of your choice.
• A document that includes suggestions on how to use this worksheet and 7 magazine covers for 2023.
• The key for these 7 magazine covers.

This activity requires students to be able to discuss important world events or conduct research on the Internet. They should be high intermediate learners or above. For French ESL students, I suggest pupils from 3è or lycée.
