This lesson is designed around the theme of returning to school and is specifically tailored for my Troisième students, which corresponds to 9th grade in the American education system.

It features four distinct activities:

• A speaking exercise to help students introduce themselves.
• A reading activity focused on a poem.
• A discussion about their summer activities.
• A listening exercise based on a book excerpt about the new school year.
• An “All About Me!” assignment (provided as homework, with multiple versions available for you to choose from).
