This activity focuses on the back-to-school theme and is designed for my Sixième students, the French equivalent of 6th grade in the U.S.

It consists of four activities:

• A speaking exercise to help students introduce themselves.
• A reading and basic vocabulary activity (covering topics like colors and everyday objects).
• A listening exercise involving a short back-to-school poem with labels that students need to order.
• A cover page creation for their notebook or binder (several versions are included so you can choose your favorite!).
• An “All About Me!” document, which I assign as homework (multiple versions are included for your selection).

What’s included:

• Approximately an hour and a half of class time (including time for homework review in the next class).
• A slideshow available as a video (MP4), in PDF format, or online.
• Printable worksheets in PDF format.
• Answer keys for all materials.
• Activities encompass reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
