This unit is for ESL students to learn more about the 1920s: life in the 1920s, jazz music, the Flappers and 1920s women's fashion, the radio, the Lost Generation, Jazz clubs, prohibition, and organized crimes!

I use this unit with my pupils of 4ème LCE (the equivalent in France of the American 8th grade but it’s a special class mostly based on English-speaking culture, not grammar). I could use it with “normal” 4ème (8th-graders) or 3ème too (the equivalent in France of the American 9th grade).
