》ACTIVITY for ESL learners: the twentieth century《

Personally, I use this activity with my pupils of Quatrième LCE, which, in France, could correspond to supplementary English class for the American 8th grade.

As you can read on my blog (in French), this year, my central theme this year is going to be “A Walk through the twentieth century”. So, after my first class of the year when I’m going to do some ice-breaking activities (available here).

It includes activities about the twentieth century:

• A card game with three events for each decade;
• A timeline from 1901 to 2000;
• A video to correct and learn more;
• A worksheet to keep a record of these events, names, inventions, etc.!

Included:

• About one hour and a half worth of class;
• Worksheets in PDF – easy to print;
